Dear Carl: First of all thank you for your focus from “the Bridge”, the event a terrible reflection on us all. While I agree we should admonish the room mate, my faith says that real progress and growth may lie if forgiveness, love and reconciliation. Hard to see what the steps in that regard might be, yet I have faith that they are present to us if we look. Think of the terror and evil of apartheid, and the value of the truth and reconciliation process in creating longer term balance. What would this look like in the gay-bashing US? To ponder.

Thanks for lifting the Spirit.
Much good cheer
